Peter began his legal career with Terry Shanahan in 1995. Peter became the Principal of the firm in 2003 and has maintained the practice ethos clients are familiar with Shanahans Solicitors.
Peter attended the University of Sydney and graduated with a Degree in Arts. Peter then attended the University of Western Sydney and graduated with a Degree in Law and a Diploma in Practical Legal Training. Peter has wide experience in Property Law and practices in the areas of Property Development, Leasing, Conveyancing, Securities and Contracts, Wills and Probate.

Yu Sun Tang
Solicitor
Yu Sun graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) & Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University. He has a broad work history, having previously worked in a community legal centre and in administration for civil engineering and construction. His experience in such areas provides practical advice to remedy commercial problems which clients may face.
Yu Sun has many years of experience in practice with many hours of client contact and exposure to many areas of the law. These areas of law include civil litigation, criminal procedure, family law, estate planning, property, and commercial leasing.
Yu Sun brings to his clients and practice a wealth of experience and knowledge of the law and business, with a clear focus on human relationships. He enjoys meeting new people, cultures and communities. Yu Sun is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
Yu Sun is fluent in Cantonese.
Jenny Oliveric
Conveyancer
Jenny has over twenty-five years’ experience as a conveyancer and has seen the Sydney property market transform over the decades. She has a thorough understanding of all conveyancing and property transactions, and resolves complex property issues experienced by clients.
Jenny works closely with the solicitors of the firm and assists within areas of real estate sales, purchases, commercial leasing, property subdivisions and preparation of by-laws.
Debbie Seedsman
Paralegal
Debbie has worked in the legal profession since 1982 and with Shanahans Butlers Solicitors (at the time known as Butlers & Associates) since 1987. She has extensive knowledge and experience within all areas of law.
Debbie works closely with clients and solicitors. She listens to the legal problems of clients and ensures that their needs are met in a most effective manner. She assists within the areas of Wills, Estate and Succession, as well as preparing Enduring Guardianship and Power of Attorney documents within the firm.
